Edmonton Sportsmen’s Show

Here at the Edmonton Boat and Sportsmen’s Show in Edmonton, Alberta for the weekend of March 14- March 17. It’s a great expo full of hunting and fishing camps, freshwater and saltwater fishing gear, depth finders, fish finders, all different types of boats from pontoons to sea doos, aluminum saltwater fishing boats to the lake cruisers. There are many different companies and lodges offering all sorts of opportunities and fishing experiences. There are a few other companies from Port Hardy including our friends at Coastwide Sports Fishing as well as North Shore Lodge. A popular whiskey vendor here called White Lightning Distillery is selling the strongest whiskey in Canada at 75.2%. It seemed like a necessity to pick up a bottle for the privilege of having the strongest cask whiskey as part of the bar collection. Buffalo sausage, deer sausage, beef jerky makers and of course the ever popular mini donuts round out the action. It’s been great to meet and hang out with other exhibitors and talk about all the different companies that are all representing their craft at the show. It’s a great group of people who have smiles on their faces all day long and are happy to be among other hunters and fishers with similar interests and personalities that makes for a day that flies by telling fishing stories and memories that people have made over the years with friends and family members. We’re very happy to be here at the expo with North Pacific Adventures representing Port Hardy fishing.
