WHY SHOULD YOU BOOK FISHING CHARTERS IN PORT HARDY?

Port Hardy is located at the North Eastern tip of Vancouver Island. Being the northernmost town on the island, the waters are reserved for the locals and dealing with crowds is a non issue. The great migrations of salmon coming from the Gulf of Alaska and down through the Queen Charlotte Islands first encounter land and sport fishermen in the waters surrounding Port Hardy.

In other words, you get the very first crack at the fish on the island. All five species of salmon pass through the channel year after year. Chinook, Coho, Sockeye, Chum and Pinks begin to funnel down the inside of Vancouver Island on the way to their spawning beds. This is why we have an amazing spot when it comes to fishing in Port Hardy, Vancouver Island.
